Mason-Lake Conservation District Spring Tree/Shrub Sale
Pre-orders are now being accepted.

Denim & Diamonds Daddy/Daughter Dance
Event includes dinner, photos, dancing, and a glow party. Tickets are $25/each and can be purchased at ticketstripe.com. Radiant Church- 409 S. Washington Ave., Ludington.

Snowfest 2024
JCI Muskegon’s largest winter festival features the return of Euchre Tournaments, Axe throwing, and Snow Volleyball as well as some new additions including a Bloody Mary contest between local downtown bars and restaurants, a disc golf putting tournament, and much more. Young Farmers Fishing Tournament
Cost is $20 per two person Team for $20, and Farm Bureau members fish for free. Participation includes a meal and raffle prizes. 1st and 2nd place for both Pan Fish and Pike: 1st prize is $250 and 2nd prize is $100. Registration is before the event or from 6-8am on the 4th at the West Michigan Research Station- 5185 N. Oceana Dr., Hart. White Pine Stampede 50k, 20k, 10k Point-to-Point Cross Country Race
Cross Country Race beginning at Mancelona High School- 9300 W. Limits Rd. and winding through Northwest Michigan, ending at Shanty Creek Resort in Bellaire. For more information or to register, visit whitepinestampede.org.

Guided Snowshoe Walk
Hike is free and a limited amount of snowshoes are available to use. Walks begin and end at the Ludington State Park Warming Shelter- 8800 M-116, Ludington.

Lantern Lit Snowshoeing, Cross-Country Skiing, or Hiking
The walk begins at the Ludington State Park Warming Shelter (8800 M-116, Ludington) and has approximately 1 mile of lighted trails. There are bonfires at both the Warming Shelter and the Amphitheater, along with free warm beverages at the Amphitheater. No registration is required.

Hart Winterfest
Event features a Classic/Vintage Snowmobile Show & Swap Meet, a Soup Walk, and more. For more information, call (231) 923-9279.

Michigan’s Free Snowmobiling Weekend
Michigan offers the opportunity to snowmobilers to operate their machines without a snowmobile registration or trail permit. 

Annual Blessing of the Sleds
Sleds gather & breakfast starts at 9am, blessing at 11am. Free, donations accepted. Skinner Park- 5074 W. 10 ½ Mile Rd, Irons.

Snowman Scram 1 Mile Fun Run & 5k
Fundraiser for the Pentwater Cross Country and Track Teams. Pentwater Public School- 600 E. Park St., Pentwater. 

Snowshoe Stampede to Stomp Out Cancer
This event includes a poker tournament, snowshoe walk, live music, bake sale, raffles, and more with proceeds benefiting the Stomp Out Cancer Fund. For more information, visit soc-fund.org/events. Manistee VFW- 1211 28th St., Manistee.

Free Cross Country Skiing
The Oceana Cross Country Ski Association will host a free cross country skiing event on the Pentwater Pathways Trail. The event includes use of OCCSA’s adult and children’s ski equipment. Equipment use will be first come, first serve and the event will be contingent upon weather and appropriate ski conditions. Reschedule date will be Saturday, February 17th, 2024. Adult Prom
Tickets are $15 at the door or two for $25 which include a DJ dance and flash prize giveaways every hour, with cash bar and pizza available for purchase. Dress from your favorite decade. For ages 21 and up. All proceeds from this event will be benefit Helping Others Prosper, an organization working to purchase a transitional house for families & women in Scottville. Grand Rapids Boat Show
Wednesday from 2-8pm, Thursday from 12-8pm, Friday from 12-9pm, Saturday from 10am-9pm, and Sunday from 10am-5pm. Find more information at grboatshow.com.

Pentwater Winterfest
 Events include fishing tournaments, cross country skiing, sledding, and ice skating.

Lenten Fish Frys in Weare Township
Dine-in or takeout Fish fry’s at St. Joseph Parish Hall- 2349 W. Jackson Rd., Weare Township. Cost is $14 for age 9 and up and a free-will donation for age 8 and under. Includes baked or fried fish, parsleyed red potatoes, choice of green beans or corn, coleslaw, dinner roll, and dessert For more information, call (231) 873-5776.

Kids Movie Night AKA Parent’s Night Out
Drop the kids off to watch Elemental, enjoy snacks, and do some free play as a fundraiser for the Conservatory of Dance Travel Team. Cost is $25 for the first child and $15 for each additional child. Winter Blues Beach Bash
Tropical themed party featuring live music by The Downtowners. Drinks available for purchase. Fundraiser for the Ramsdell Regional Center for the Arts. Tickets are $25 each and available by clicking here. Ramsdell Theatre- 101 Maple St., Manistee.

Gettin’ Jiggy Ice Fishing Tournament
Sponsored by PM Expeditions. Entry fee is $10 and there is a 100% payout for the longest fish in each category: Bluegill, Crappie, and Perch. You must be in line for measuring by 6pm. Call (231) 845-7285 for more information.

FiveCAP’s Walk for Warmth
Groups, individuals, and businesses are encouraged to form walking teams for the 2-mile walk and gather pledges to benefit FiveCAP’s program to subsidize heat for families and seniors in need. Contribution and pledge sheets are available at fivecap.org. Registration is at 9:30am with the walk taking place between 10am-12pm. The walk starts at the Community Church- 109 N. Harrison St., Ludington.

Yeti Fest

Frostbite Winter Festival & Chili Cook-Off
Variety of activities at multiple downtown Manistee establishments including the chili cook-off. For a complete list of activities, click here.  

Great Start Collaborative Winter Book Walk
Families are invited to walk, snowshoe, or ski the lantern lit path at the Ludington State Park. The first 100 families will receive a signed copy of the book “Star in the Jar” by Sam Hay and Sarah Massini. There will be a bonfire and free warm beverages at the amphitheater.

Teen Glow Party
Ages 12-18. Tickets are $8 at the door and include dance with DJ Jake Muzzo and flash prize giveaways. Pizza, pop, and glow items will be available for purchase. Michigan’s Free Fishing Weekend
The State of Michigan offers its residents and outstate visitors two Free Fishing Weekends per year. 

Osborn’s Big Ice Fishing Tournament
Prizes are awarded to adults and to children, in separate categories, for pike, walleye, perch, smelt, bluegill and crappie. There is also a biggest fish prize, and several door prize drawings. Osborn’s- 8929 Chippewa Hwy., Bear Lake.

La Seniorita Gives Back Fiesta
Dine at La Señorita Restaurant- 2155 N. US-31 South, Traverse City on this day and they’ll donate 20% of your bill to Traverse Bay Children’s Advocacy Center, carry-out orders included. Ludington Area Catholic School Lenten Fish Frys
Cost is $15 for adult meals with choice of fried perch, fried shrimp, or combo of perch/shrimp (served with french fries or baked potato, cole slaw, apple sauce and homemade dessert). Kids meals are $9 with choice of perch, shrimp, combo perch/shrimp, with Mac & Cheese or fries; all with the same sides. Dine in or take-out available. Ludington Area Catholic School- 700 Bryant Rd., Ludington.

Traverse City Restaurant Week
